V Collection Wines was founded after the acquisition of our home in Franschhoek, South Africa.
With a clear and focussed desire to produce fine handcrafted wines, in small batches from our unique and treasured vineyard blocks. The unparalleled and natural beauty of the Franschhoek valley, along with its History and character work hand in hand with our mission to create a world class wine company.
From the beginning
V Collection wines has sought out and added various vineyard blocks dotted out across the vast South African winelands, to our already stellar vineyard portfolio. With an effort to find exceptional fruit, that would work with the style of wines we make. Our attention to detail in this regard has paid off, and is reflected in the unique terroir driven wines we make.
We are of the belief that wines are born and made first and foremost in the vineyards, hence our focus on innovative and exceptional management of our sites, allowing us to reap the rewards of our hard work when it comes to harvest time. This belief coupled with low yields and extensive ripening periods help us produce wines of great distinction, with exceptional agability.
